Held in the historic Melbourne Exhibition Buildings in Carlton this was truly a nerd’s paradise or a teenage kid’s playground. Book your tickets online, 15% discount and we skipped a two hour queue at the entrance of the exhibition. Kids under 13 were free with each adult ticket on Sunday.
Hundreds of exhibitors selling games, props, costumes, comics and even military apparel and clothing. Famous guests such as Daniel Portman from Lord of the Rings, Arthur Darvill of Doctor Who fame, Kristian Nairn who played Hodor in Game of Thrones and Shawn Ashmore from the Xmen series just to name a few.
Many visitors dressed up in their favourite characters and were more than happy to pose for snaps and take their own. The exhibiiton even offered children’s and adults Cosplay parades and random prizes.
